Las Terrazas is a neighborhood in Northwest Albuquerque with a big strip mall shopping center anchored around a Smith’s Grocery Store and Pharmacy. The shopping center is called Petroglyph Plaza because this neighborhood is close to Petroglyph National Monument—a site with lots of great hiking where you can see thousands of petroglyphs from ancient native cultures. Here are some other highlights from the neighborhood.

Restaurants in Las Terrazas

Papa John’s is one of these restaurants. Papa John’s is a well-known pizza chain that provides both delivery and take-out services. One Google reviewer, Jessica G., shared about a great customer service experience online. Jessica said,

“Pizza was great! Fresh hot! Ordered 12 wings and they where charred. Honey chipotle. The sauce taste nasty. I called and let them know. They replaced my order with great customer service.”

This shopping center also has a Starbucks. Smith’s is located just across the street, so this is convenient if you need a coffee boost before your grocery shopping.

How Do I Know If My Roof Has Hail Damage?

Many homes need roofing repair in Los Lunas and Albuquerque, and that is often due to hail damage. Hail and wind damage are the leading causes of needing roofing repair, or perhaps a new roof altogether. Our team knows how to identify hail damage so that your insurance can cover the repair or replacement if possible. When looking for hail damage, we’re looking for degranulated shingles, especially in a pock-marked pattern that looks like hail.

Can I File a Claim with My Insurance Company for Hail Damage?

Yes! We’re happy to do the repair work or roof replacement for Los Lunas homes with hail damage. No need to use a special contractor to get it covered by your insurance. You do have to have approval from an adjuster, verifying that there is, in fact, hail damage, for the work to be covered. Filing with insurance can feel complicated, but we will do our best to walk you through it and work with your insurance company to get you taken care of.
